| After struggling with infertility and then experiencing back-to-back missed miscarriages, we truly felt lost. We had no answers as to why this kept happening, and each loss brought the same overwhelming heartbreak. The doctors we spoke with had very few suggestions besides moving forward with IVF. While we were open to anything that might help us grow our family, I had a gut feeling that there were underlying issues going on that IVF alone would not “fix.” I began researching on my own and eventually came across information about Reproductive Immunology. That’s when I learned about Dr. Jubiz. I was relieved to see that he accepted patients virtually and worked with insurance, which made it financially possible for us to pursue this path. After applying to become a patient, we were accepted and had our consult with Dr. Jubiz about a month later. At that time, I remember feeling incredibly sad and hopeless. I was also very nervous going into that first call. But almost immediately, I felt a sense of hope again. For the first time, it truly felt like we were in the right hands and finally had a plan moving forward. Dr. Jubiz was the first doctor who genuinely listened to my worries and fears and took them seriously. He recommended much more extensive testing than any of the other doctors we had seen. While the process involved a lot of testing and several steps to follow, every step felt worthwhile. It helped me feel like I was finally doing something proactive and making progress. We were fortunate enough to get pregnant on our first “green light.” I still remember that Dr. Jubiz met with me just two days after my positive pregnancy test. He was incredibly reassuring and truly became my biggest cheerleader throughout the pregnancy. I always felt like someone was looking out for both me and my baby every step of the way, and that support meant everything. Today, I have a beautiful four and a half month old and I still find myself in disbelief some days. My heart is filled with so much gratitude. Dr. Jubiz is an incredibly caring doctor, and I can’t thank him and his entire staff enough for the care and support they gave us during one of the most difficult seasons of our lives.
